how do you participate in conversations if you dont watch sports?
i dont watch sports and i dont want to watch them just to please others. but i feel like an idiot just sitting there when everyone is talking about them, which is almost all the time. what do i do
Your kind of in a catch 22 as you don’t want to start talking politics or religion. May I suggest Movies, music or popular TV shows aka Water Cooler Talk if you would. Otherwise you may need to bone up on your local sports. I’m not really sure of your audience but a good book especially popular one that’s not political may work as well. Perhaps you went to a new restaurant that was really good and others may be interested after all every one eats so food could also be a topic.
